Draycott in the Clay is a small village located on the border of Staffordshire and Derbyshire. It dates back to at least the 11th century, making it one of the oldest settlements in the area, as it was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. Situated among rolling hills and agricultural lands, Draycott is surrounded by lush woodlands and picturesque fields, offering not only a peaceful setting to live in, but also plentiful opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, walking, cycling, and bird watching.
