Location . Whitchurch is a quaint market town located 2 and a half miles from Buttercups Haybarn. The town boasts a myriad of stunning architecture from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, notably St. Alkmund's Church which stands tall over the city. Whitchurch is well-known on an international level for its tower clock production dating back to the 1650s, and has been affectionately given the nickname "The Home of Tower Clocks". A fine example of these clocks can be found on one of the barns in the town. There are a variety of independent stores, pubs, and restaurants that provide citizens and visitors with an array of options for shopping and dining. Situated in an ideal location, Whitchurch serves as a great base for exploring Shropshire, North Wales, and Cheshire.

Attractions Chester Zoo is a 40 minute drive away and is one of the oldest zoos in the world, with over 7,000 animals in its collection. The Ironbridge World Heritage site is a 30 minute drive away. It is an industrial museum set in a gorgeous wooded gorge by the River Severn. Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site is also 30 minutes away and is known for having the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain. On top of that, it also has an impressive 18th century canal which allows visitors to travel along it in barges or boats. National Trust site of Erddig, Chirk Castle & Attingham Park are located in Shrewsbury, and are popular tourist sites.
